The Sept-Chutes park trail is a pleasant 5 km round trip. The first section of the trail follows a magnificent gorge through which the Kamouraska River meanders. Views of the Kamouraska River and its waterfalls enhance the hike. A stand of red pine, an uncommon species in the region, can be seen along the way. The route crosses wooded plains and farmland. A wide variety of birds, small mammals and native plants offer nature lovers a site rich in discoveries.
A picnic area is located at the park entrance, and rest areas are available along the trail.
The trail is not maintained in winter.
