We’re proud to offer the public a magnificent, recently inaugurated belvedere. Here’s a brief description:
Located at the junction of Route de l’Église and Rang 4 in Sainte-Hélène, the lookout offers a unique view of the Kamouraska region. The shape of the structure is reminiscent of the Charlevoix mountain skyline, and the openings in its translucent skin evoke the precious “cabourons” that emerge from the plains of the St. Lawrence.
With its coroplast, reminiscent of the transparency of greenhouses, the halt offers a spectacle of shadow play at sunset, highlighting its hemlock wood structure. Children are welcome to venture out and play. What’s more, the rest area’s ramp makes it easy and accessible to climb.
